September 2011

The Founding

Clove Dental is founded by Amarinder Singh. The company opens its first-ever clinic in New Delhi, marking the beginning of its mission to transform dental care in India.

March 2015

Leadership Strengthened

Lt Gen Dr Vimal Arora (Retd) PVSM, AVSM & Bar to VSM, former Director General Dental Services of the Indian Army Dental Corps, joins Clove Dental as Chief Clinical Officer. Under his leadership, Clove grew from 58 to over 650 clinics in a decade, mirroring his experience of leading India’s largest dental workforce and reinforcing Clove’s position as Asia's leading dental network.

April 2015

First Major Investment

The company receives its first external funding, providing the capital needed to accelerate its expansion and strengthen its operational framework.

June 17, 2017

Recognition

Honourable Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, President of India (July ‘02 – July ‘07). inaugurated the Clove Dental Heritage Centre in New Delhi. The center's purpose is to provide subsidized dental care to underprivileged communities, focusing on research, training, and community services.

December 2021

National Expansion

Clove Dental announces a major milestone, reaching a network of over 340 clinics across 11 states in India. This achievement solidifies its position as India's largest dental network.

November 2022

Strategic Funding Rounds

Clove secures significant investor confidence, raising $216M (~₹1,700 crore) in total funding. This includes an earlier $100M round, followed by $66M led by Investcorp (2022) and $50M from the Qatar Investment Authority (2023). The funding is earmarked for expanding the network, diversifying services, and strengthening digital innovations.

2024

Continued Growth and Innovation

Clove Dental achieves a significant milestone, surpassing the 500-clinic mark and solidifying its position as an industry leader. By integrating AI-driven insights and advanced digital technologies across clinical and operational systems, Clove enhanced efficiency and patient experience.

2025

Surpassing the 600-Clinic Mark

Clove Dental's official website announces that the company now operates over 600 clinics across 26 cities in India, moving closer to its long-term goal of reaching 1,000 clinics. This milestone highlights its dominant position in the organized dental care market.
